Now finally I feel it is looking good!
Had been thinking of it as finished, mostly because I wasn't sure where to go with it.
Yesterday made the latest changes.... more contrast, more violet, pulling some colours into the foreground, etc. Very glad I did not ship this one last month because it is definitely stronger now!

I saw this in the gallery today. The online version does not do it full justice re the light, and the shimmering cross hatching like silver. I am measuring my wall space :-)

online images are never very indicative of the true nature of the work - haha, or maybe it is just my limited photography skills...
just wondering: are you the person who bought the painting?
if so, I hope you will enjoy it for a long time!
