I started my morning with a couple of quick sketches. First an eyes-closed drawing (the colouring-in parts are done with eyes open) and then a portrait of my husband.
Both done with Sharpie paint markers + watercolour crayons on 130lb paper, 9x12 inches.
Patterns and people. A good start to this day.

SO good. I can't imagine drawing with eyes closed. You are miraculous.

I just love to draw: draw anything, people, landscapes, draw with my eyes closed. I guess I've been drawing since childhood, never have stopped. What is miraculous to me, is that my life has unfolded in such a way that I can be still drawing. And painting, and blogging, and all these other lovely creative things in my oh-so-fortunate life.
